MeeGo is a Linux-based open source operating system for small form factor devices – think tablets, handheld devices, in-vehicle infotainment systems, smart TVs and netbooks. Established in February 2010 as a Linux Foundation project, the MeeGo project brings together the Moblin project, headed up by Intel, and Maemo, by Nokia, into a single open source activity. The platform has gained a significant following of vibrant and active community of developers, enthusiasts, and users.
The MeeGo community looks to capitalize on its momentum by hosting a 3-day Meego Conference in San Francisco, California from May 23-25th, 2011.
This is the 2nd such Conference held by Meego. The Conference is FREE to attend and will be held at the downtown Hyatt Regency in San Francisco, CA, on May 23-25th, 2011.
