President Barack Obama To Host TownHall Meeting At Facebook HQ To Connect With Americans Across The Country

President Barack Obama is all set to host a virtual town hall meeting on April 20 (2011) from the Facebook HQ in Palo Alto. The event will be broadcast over Facebook Live, the White House blog announced earlier today.

In the townhall, President Obama will be fielding questions that are submitted on the Facebook Page, or on the Whitehouse Page for the event.

So if you are dying to ask questions you can either
1) Post the question on the Obama Facebook Town Hall event’s Facebook page wall or
2) Visit the whitehouse page for this event and post the question there.

If you don’t have a Facebook account and don’t care to get one, then you should use option #2.

As a question on WhiteHouse.GOV Event Page

And yes, there is such a thing as a “Dumb Question“, so if you ask questions like “Were you born in the USA?” or “Are you a Muslim?”, you will likely not get any answers and possibly get lynched by the Facebook mob.

The event will be streamed live starting at 1:45 p.m. Pacific time (i.e. 4:45 pm Eastern Time) and will include CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg.

This isn’t the first time Facebook Live has hosted a powerful politician on site. Previous Facebook Live appearance include New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Sen. John Kerry, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and of course the worst president EVER – George W. Bush Jr!

    Mr. President Barack Obama,
When will we see a pay increase for Social Security? Also, will there be more grants for the Senior Citizens to upgrade their homes? The Senior Citizens has paved the way for the young adults of today to have a better life, so we should give the Senior Citizens their props. Thanks for listening and inviting everyone to the Town Hall Virtual Meeting on Facebook, this is the best ever.
