Is Silicon Valley The New Wall Street? SFBeta Financial Innovation Event.

This month’s SF Beta – a startup mixer event that takes place in downtown San Francisco – is kicking off the new year with a brand new demo theme: Financial Innovation.

Event organizer Chris Perry, in partnership with Rob Garcia (of LendingClub) has put together a first class roster of nearly a dozen startups that are disrupting the financial industry with their technological innovation.

  8. Credit Sesame – a new free online tool that easily gives you the best way to save money on your mortgage and loans by unlocking your credit potential.
  9. CreditKarma – a completely free credit management service that enables consumers to put their credit to work for their overall financial health by providing them with customized savings recommendations.
  10. BillShrink – a personalized search engine that’s helped 1.5M Americans find more than $1B in potential savings on their household bills
